The George Sim Community Center is a vibrant cultural, recreational, educational, and social resource for residents of all ages. This expansion of the community center building and the addition of a new events center transformed this into a vibrant new civic complex well suited to serve the areas needs.

The project was the result of a design/build competition held by the City of Sacramento. Brown Construction of West Sacramento, with Field Paoli, submitted the winning entry.
